Diy Air Conditioning Can I Paint A Central Air Conditioning Outdoor Compressor Unit?

Can I paint a central air conditioning outdoor compressor unit? - diy air conditioning

This is a central Carrier AC unit and the compressor in the back yard looks like hell. The picture appeared in pieces and there are a lot of rust. It seems pretty bad.

I wonder if I download a newer version with a new paint? If I had to do, what kind of paint should I use? Something that can withstand high temperatures? And how do for them? Spray?

Is this a DIY job?

I am preparing myself for an oil-based paints color of the light and make sure not to get the condenser coils. Brushing paint on a grouse-up security is the best surface adhesion and longer life.

They are not painting in bobbin cover flap or a label on the nameplate with the specifications of the machine in it.
